Job summary

SimoTech is seeking an MES Syncade Engineer to join our team in Dublin. The role offers hybrid working and a path to deepen expertise in MES and Digital Manufacturing within a large biopharma setting.

You will design and deliver robust Syncade recipes, support integration with ERP/LIMS and DCS, and contribute to the site’s digital transformation initiatives while maintaining high quality manufacturing standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience as an MES Engineer in life sciences manufacturing.
• Practical experience with Emerson Syncade (DeltaV MES), including recipe authoring and configuration.
• Familiarity with MES integration to ERP, LIMS, automation and maintenance platforms.
• Strong change control discipline and compliant documentation.
• Excellent communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform MES recipe authoring and contribute to continuous improvement of Syncade recipes.
• Participate in MES recipe testing, validation and related configuration.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and create design and validation artefacts.
• Support MES system administration for ERP, laboratory, maintenance and DCS interfaces.
• Build and configure MES Syncade functionality for tracking, materials and reporting.
• Support delivery of new MES digital capabilities and site digital transformation goals.

As MES Engineer, you will play akey role in supporting the Digital Plant's objectives of maintaining highproduct quality and driving lean manufacturing practices. You will help ensureMES solutions and Syncade recipes are robust, reliable, and aligned withoperational and manufacturing requirements, while supporting the delivery ofnew digital capabilities and enhancements within MES applications.

KeyResponsibilities

• PerformMES recipe authoring activities and contribute to ongoing improvement to ensurethe effectiveness of Syncade recipes in support of the Digital Plant's objectives of maintaining highproduct quality and driving lean manufacturing practices.
  
• Participatein the MES recipe testing, validation, and related configuration.
  
• Workclosely with key stakeholder to actively contribute to requirements gathering andthe creation of MES deliverables such as design documents and validationactivities.
  
• Support MESsystem administration for third-party interfaces, including ERP, laboratory, maintenancemanagement, and DCS systems.
  
• Build andconfigure MES Syncade functionality for equipment tracking, materials management,inventory management, and reporting.
  
• Supportthe delivery of new MES digital capabilities and associated systems, contributingto the site’s wider digital transformation goals.
  

Requirements

Key Requirements

• Bachelorsdegree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
  
• Atleast 3 years’ experience as an MES Engineer in the life sciences manufacturingindustry with practical experience with Emerson Syncade (DeltaV MES), includingrecipe authoring and configuration.
  
• Familiaritywith integration of MES to supporting systems such as ERP, LIMS, automation, andmaintenance platforms.
  
• Strongability to work within change control processes and maintain compliantdocumentation.
  
• Goodproblem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail in technicaldeliverables.
  
• Strong communication skills andexperience working collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
