Job summary

Sysco Ireland is seeking a Merchandising Coordinator to support activities across Newcastle West, Dublin or Belfast. The role involves structured merchandising tasks, numerical tracking and strong communication with vendors and internal teams.

You will contribute to European projects, manage code changes with accuracy, and ensure timely task completion while interacting with multiple departments and external partners. Weekend work is required.

Responsibilities

• Merchandising representation in European projects.
• Heavy involvement in all code changes ensuring merchandising responsibilities are completed accurately and on time.
• Tracking sales performance daily, weekly and monthly to mitigate commercial risk using internal systems.
• Maintenance of business trackers and run books to ensure tasks are closed timely.
• Lead role communicating internally and externally to vendors and maintain vendor responses and queries.
• Support other business departments on merchandising activities as required.
• Coordinate and issue Merchandising communications when needed.
• Liase and support Category & Trading Managers on category strategies and daily activities.
• Maintain vendor contacts information.
• Manage general merchandising queries and ad hoc administrative duties.

Merchandising Coordinator - Newcastle West, Dublin or Belfast

(This role works 5 days over 7 and will involve weekend work.)

Key Accountabilities:

• Merchandising representation in European projects
• Heavy involvement in all code changes ensuring all Merchandising responsibilities is completed accurately and on a timely basis. This role is integral in ensuring no impact or disruption to customers when changing codes.
• Responsible for tracking of sales performance on a daily, weekly and monthly basis to mitigate against potential commercial risk. This role will be responsible for using internal systems to track sales revenue, volume, margin along with customer churn and leakage identifying trends and summarizing findings.
• Maintenance of business trackers and run books to ensure each task is closed in a timely manner
• Lead role communicating internally and externally to vendors. Will be required to contact vendors on a regular basis, ensuring they remain informed on any communication while maintaining vendor responses and queries.
• Supporting other business departments as and when required on any merchandising activities.
• Coordinate and issue Merchandising business communications as and when required.
• Liase and support Category & Trading Managers on implementation of category strategies and day to day merchandising activities.
• Ongoing maintenance of all Vendor contacts information.
• Management of general merchandising queries & ad hoc administrative duties.
