Job summary

CPM Ireland is seeking a field-based Merchandiser to heighten brand awareness and ensure high product visibility across locations in Ireland. Responsibilities include adhering to journey plans, executing planograms, recording activity, and reporting insights to the National Sales Manager.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to journey plans given by line manager.
• Merchandise products on shelves per planogram, maximise promotional space, negotiate with Store Manager.
• Record merchandising activity, audit brands and competitor activity, provide timely feedback.
• Maintain and grow planogram space; ensure correct SEL and pricing.
• Merchandise promotional displays and capture before/after photos.
• Liaise with store manager before leaving; update NSM before/after calls.
• Deliver field insights to National Sales Manager; build cross-party relationships.
• Generate new ideas and support product launches and in-store promotions.

Building in-store relationships is key to promote CPM and the client with the key contacts. To provide simple reporting through tablet and phone technology.

Requirements

The Primary Responsibilities for This Role Are:

• To adhere to journey plans given by line manager
• Merchandise required products on to shelves and ensure that all merchandising guidelines are being adhered to with emphasis on planogram compliance, maximising promotional space and negotiating with Store Manager
• Record merchandising activity completed, audit our brands and competitor activity and provide feedback in a timely manner
• Maintain and grow planogram space where possible;
• Ensure all products have correct SEL placed in front of the product;
• Merchandise all promotional displays and ensure correct pricing is in place;
• Capture before and after photographs on a hand-held device
• Liaise with store manager prior to leaving ensure they are happy with work completed;
• Liaise with NSM before and after each call;
• Deliver field insights to the National sales manager
• Build strong relationships with all parties to work together as a team;
• To generate new ideas and ways of working
• To support all product launches and promotions and develop presence in-store
• To maintain all CPM standards and policies
• To consistently strive to reach highest standards of performance for customers
• To ensure at all times that you operate in an effective and efficient manner to complete all tasks
• To undertake any other duties and responsibilities as instructed by your line manager

Required Experience & Competencies:

• Full driving licence is essential
• Merchandising background is desirable but not required
• Computer Literate - ability to send photos via email and fill in and send reports/audits as required
• Ability to undertake physical activity as this role will involve lifting and moving some heavy products
