Job summary

Global Group is seeking an experienced MEP Site Agent to lead the design and installation of MEP and temporary services on a major construction project at Dublin Airport. You will manage daily site activities, ensure quality, safety, and schedule adherence while coordinating with multiple stakeholders in a live airport setting.

The role requires 8+ years in MEP with at least 3 years in a senior site position, and a strong background in airport/high-security projects.

Qualifications

• Legal right to work in Ireland.
• 5-year background screening as part of the hiring process.
• Degree in Industrial, Mechanical and Electrical Management or related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in MEP works with at least 3 years in a senior site role.
• Proven experience in airport or high-security infrastructure projects desirable.
• Strong knowledge of structural construction methods, temporary works, and sequencing.
• Proficient in project management tools and software (MS Project, Primavera, AutoCAD).
• Valid Safe Pass and relevant certifications (CSCS, Manual Handling, Temporary Works Coordinator).

Responsibilities

• Lead the execution of permanent services on the project.
• Lead, install and maintain temporary services for the construction works.
• Oversee daily site activities ensuring alignment with plans, specifications and safety protocols.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams for timely delivery of works.
• Develop and maintain detailed work programmes, short-term lookaheads, and resource plans.
• Liaise with airport operations to manage access and operational constraints.
• Ensure works are sequenced to minimise disruption and comply with security requirements.
• Ensure quality and compliance with design specs and regulatory standards.
• Promote and enforce a strong safety culture on site.
• Manage and mentor site engineers, foremen and other staff; report progress to Construction/Project Manager.
• Maintain a temporary works register and ensure compliance as temporary works coordinator.

Job description

My client, a Global Group with projects in more than 15 countries across 4 continents are now looking for an MEP Site Agent to join their team. The successful MEP Site Agent will be working on a long-term framework, high profile Civil infrastructure project at Dublin Airport with at least 5 years’ worth of work initially.

The MEP Site Agent will lead the detail design and installation of MEP services and Temporary services on a major construction project within the operational airport environment. The role involves managing the delivery of structural elements, ensuring quality, safety, and programme compliance, while coordinating with multiple stakeholders in a live airport setting

Role:

Project Delivery & Site Management:

• Lead the execution of permanent services.
• Lead, install and maintain temporary services for the construction of the project.
• Oversee daily site activities, ensuring alignment with project plans, specifications, and safety protocols.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely and efficient delivery of works.

Project Controls:

• Ensure Site performance and Cost control
• Maintain and report cost
• Maintain and report production performance
• Ensure management of works to budget

Planning & Coordination:

• Develop and maintain detailedwork programmes, short-term lookaheads, and resource plans.
• Liaise with airport operations teams to manage access, logistics, and operational constraints.
• Ensure works are sequenced to minimize disruption to airport operations and comply with security protocols.

Quality & Compliance:

• Ensure all structural works meetdesign specifications,quality standards, andregulatory requirements.
• Conduct inspections and quality checks, and manage non-conformance reports (NCRs).
• Maintain accurate records of site activities, inspections, and progress.

Health & Safety:

• Promote and enforce a strongsafety cultureon site.
• Ensure compliance withairport safety regulations, project-specific safety plans, and statutory requirements.
• Lead toolbox talks, safety briefings, and incident investigations.

Team Leadership & Reporting:

• Manage and mentor site engineers, foremen, and other site staff.
• Report progress, risks, and issues to the Construction Manager and Project Manager.
• Collaborate with design, planning, and commercial teams to resolve technical and programme challenges.

Temporary Works

• Ensure compliance as temporary works coordinator
• Keep temporary works register

Requirements:
