Job summary

KOSMOS is seeking an experienced MEP Commercial Manager / Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team. You will manage commercial aspects of mechanical, electrical and plumbing projects, ensuring on-time delivery within budget and to high standards.

Candidates should hold a degree in mechanical/building services engineering or equivalent, with professional qualifications (RICS or similar) preferred, and a proven track record in cost management across full project lifecycles.

Qualifications

• Recognised qualification in mechanical/building services engineering or equivalent experience.
• Professionally qualified in RICS or similar, or working towards it.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with strong prioritisation.
• Experience delivering MEP elements for clients with knowledge of MEP supply chain.

Responsibilities

• Assist feasibility studies and procurement reporting.
• Produce cost plans and present to clients.
• Work with BIM to generate 4D/5D estimates from client models.
• Tendering and procurement support with ICMS-based BOQ analysis.
• Lead risk management sessions and monitor project risks.
• Manage post-contract cost variances and change control processes.
• Perform cost checks and valuations for large projects.
• Produce monthly post-contract cost reports for clients.
• Negotiate and finalise accounts interfacing with clients and consultants.
• Potential to lead a cost management team and travel internationally.
