Job summary

Glanua in Ireland is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician/Commissioning Engineer to support on-site commissioning of MEICA projects in the water and wastewater sector. You will read drawings, set up instrumentation, calibrate field instruments and ensure HSE standards are followed.

The role requires RECI electrical qualification with 5 years post-apprenticeship experience and a driving licence. You will coordinate with project teams, suppliers and maintenance staff to deliver

Qualifications

• Trade Qualified in Electrical or E&I with RECI certification and 5 years post-apprenticeship experience.
• Water/Wastewater experience is beneficial.
• MEICA commissioning experience is required or advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead commissioning of electrical installations and MEICA systems on site.
• Prepare and review commissioning test documentation.
• Read and interpret drawings and schematics.
• Set up instrumentation and calibrate field devices.
• Coordinate with project teams, suppliers and maintenance staff.
• Attend FATs/SATs and sign off acceptance.
