Job summary

Glanua is seeking an Industrial Electrician to support commissioning, installation, and testing of electrical and MEICA systems on water and wastewater projects in Ireland. You will read drawings, coordinate with project teams, and supervise subcontractors on site.

A Level 6 qualification, plus full driving licence and safety certifications, are required. You will engage with process engineers to optimize plant performance, perform FAT/SAT sign-off, and ensure HSE standards are upheld at all

Qualifications

Trade qualified in Electrical or E&I RECI (or equivalent) certified electrician with 5 years post-apprenticeship experience.
Mechanical experience is advantageous.
Water/Wastewater experience is advantageous.
Must have Full B driving licence, Safe Pass and Manual Handling Certificate.

Responsibilities

Read and understand working drawings and schematics.
Commissioning and delivery of electrical installations of various sizes.
Set up field instrumentation and scale 4-20 mA signals to PLCs; calibrate instruments.
Supervise suppliers, sub-contractors, and site staff; coordinate with project team.
Work with process engineers to optimise water and wastewater processes.
Complete commissioning documentation including pre-test inspections and SATs.
