Job summary

Dalata Hotel Group plc is seeking a Meeting & Events Porter to deliver exceptional guest service across Meetings & Events and Food & Beverage, ensuring standards are consistently met. You will work as part of a friendly team, with flexible hours and a focus on guest satisfaction.

Dalata supports training through the Dalata Academy, promotes from within, and offers development opportunities to help you grow your career within our growing portfolio of hotels in Ireland and beyond.

Qualifications

• Experience working in hospitality.
• Experience working with customers.
• An excellent command of the English language.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional guest service in Meetings & Events and Food & Beverage areas, ensuring standards are met.
• Collaborate effectively as part of the team and be flexible with working hours.
• Actively promote sales within the department and hotel.
• Maintain safe working practices in Meetings & Events areas and address spills or hazards promptly.
• Acquire knowledge of SOPs, especially room setups.

Your Job:

• Provide exceptional guest service in all Meetings & Events and Food & Beverage areas, ensuring that the agreed-upon standards are consistently met.


• Collaborate effectively as part of the team, being mindful of colleagues' needs and demonstrating flexibility with working hours.


• Actively promote sales within the department and throughout the hotel.


• Maintain safe working practices in the Meetings & Events areas, promptly addressing any spillages or safety hazards.


• Acquire in-depth knowledge of the department's standard operating procedures, especially regarding room setups.
