Qualifications

• Qualifications recognised by the Department of Health and Children.
• Registered with CORU on the Medical Scientists Register and maintain live annual registration.
• Membership or eligibility for ACSLM is required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain patient-centric focus across hospital activities and ensure safe service delivery.
• Contribute to development and optimisation of the Laboratory Service to meet clinical needs.
• Assist in costing methods for laboratory services across hospital departments.
• Participate in implementing a quality management programme focused on patient outcomes and satisfaction.
• Promote continuing education and research activities within the laboratory.
• Foster open communication across the hospital and with external stakeholders.
