Location: National Cervial Screening Lab, Coombe Hospital, Dublin
Hours: 35 hours per week
Work pattern: Monday to Friday
Duration: 9 months with view to extend

Responsibilities:

  • Receive, prepare, and analyze cervical screening samples for HPV DNA/RNA testing.
  • Maintain compliance with ISO 15189 standards and participate in internal/external audits
  • Accurately record and report test results to clinicians and national screening databases.
  • Ensure all lab instruments are functioning correctly; troubleshoot and report malfunctions

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of science in medical science OR Biomedical science from an approved Irish institution
  • CORU Registration is mandatory
  • Must be a resident in Ireland and have the legal right to work in Ireland without restriction.
  • Willing to undergo Garda Vetting.
  • International Police Clearance required (if lived outside of Ireland for more than 6 months after the age of 16).
