Job summary

CBRE seeks a Mechanical Technician to maintain and repair building and industrial systems. You will perform preventive maintenance across mechanical and electrical systems and support ongoing improvements and energy efficiency initiatives.

The role involves following established procedures, reviewing work orders, and ensuring safety and compliance with codes. Candidates should be able to handle physical tasks and operate with supervision in a dynamic facility setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of related experience.
• Able to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing preventive maintenance on facility mechanical, electrical, and other installed building systems equipment, and facilities.
• Assist with modification of building equipment and systems.
• Review assigned work orders and estimate time and materials needed to complete repairs.
• Utilize available systems and track completion.
• Support energy management by ensuring systems operate efficiently.
• Maintain inventory of parts, tools and items needed to complete work orders.
• Inspect existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
• Follow defined procedures and processes under close supervision.
