Job summary

Veolia in Ireland seeks a Project Manager (Mechanical Engineering) to lead ECI projects across Water and Wastewater sectors. You will drive design coordination, manage interfaces with clients and teams, and ensure delivery within scope, cost and schedule.

The role requires 5+ years in M&E or Civil projects, with an engineering degree. A strong IT capability (MS Project) and good organisational skills are essential. Veolia supports diversity and offers comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years relevant post-qualification experience in M&E or Civil engineering projects.
• Engineering degree or equivalent experience in mechanical, civil, process or chemical disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Ensure thorough knowledge of contract for all assigned projects.
• Coordinate design activities/outputs across PCI and PDI for Water/Wastewater projects.
• Act as main contact for issues on your project portfolio.
• Collaborate with client, designers and operations within the ECI framework.
• Provide timely updates on design outputs, costs, and procurement impacts.
• Identify risks to design activities and notify client early for mitigations.
• Administer documentation in BIM 360 and related workflows.
• Monitor project progress against the programme and budget.
• Identify procurement and cost optimisation opportunities.
• Liaise with Programme Manager, Designers, Drafting and H&S to satisfy requirements.
