Job summary

Arcon Recruitment Services is hiring a Mechanical Maintenance Technician in County Mayo. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of plant and equipment in a busy production environment.

This role includes preventative maintenance, fault finding, diagnosis, and continuous improvement initiatives. Candidates should have minimum 2 years’ experience and mechanical qualifications, along with strong problem-solving and teamwork skills. A competitive salary and various benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a maintenance environment.
• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and routine maintenance on production equipment.
• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on machinery.
• Support production teams in minimising downtime.

Education

Mechanical trade qualification or equivalent
