Vertiv Ireland is seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters for our Burnfoot site to support the mechanical assembly of electrical switchgear and electromechanical systems. This hands-on role values workmanship, quality and safety in a high-quality manufacturing environment.

You will read engineering drawings, assemble components for new and repeat products, and contribute to prototype and development builds while maintaining a safe, organized workspace with occasional overtime.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Mechanical Fitter or Assembler in manufacturing/engineering.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specs.
• Experience with engineering hand tools and workshop equipment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to quality and safety.
• Experience in electrical switchgear manufacture or similar.

Responsabilités

• Mechanical assembly and fitting of electrical switchgear and electromechanical equipment.
• Work from engineering drawings, manuals and technical documentation.
• Fit, build and assemble components for new and repeat products.
• Maintain high workmanship and quality throughout the build process.
• Identify and report defective or non-conforming components.
• Complete MTOs and support material ordering for tasks.
• Support prototype and development builds.
• Keep a clean, safe and organized working environment.
• Work flexibly, including overtime and site support as required.
