Job summary

Spillane Precast Concrete Ltd, based in Nenagh, Co. Tipperary, is seeking a Mechanical Fitter with hands-on experience in installation and servicing of pumps, blowers and gearboxes.

You will work on-site, carry out maintenance, identify faults and document daily activities with materials used and time on site. The role offers a 2-year fixed-term contract and a 39-hour week, with annual remuneration of €36,605.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical installation and servicing of pumps, blowers and gearboxes.
• Competence in identifying mechanical faults and determining appropriate solutions.
• Experience supervising on-site mechanical and electrical works and completing daily reports detailing works undertaken, materials used and time on site.

Job Description

Spillane Precast Concrete Ltd, based in Cunnahurt, Nenagh, Co. Tipperary, are looking for Mechanical Fitter. Experience in carrying out mechanical installation and servicing of pumps, blowers, screens, gearboxes and other mechanical assets, with knowledge of mechanical and electrical plant operations, planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance. Candidates should be competent in identifying mechanical faults, determining appropriate solutions and parts required, supervising onsite mechanical and electrical works, and completing daily reports detailing works undertaken, materials used and time on site. Annual remuneration is €36,605 for a basic 39-hour week on a 2-year fixed-term contract.
