Job summary

Sigmar Recruitment is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Fitter for a busy, high-speed manufacturing site in Ireland. You will set up, install, maintain and repair equipment across shift rotation (6am–2pm and 2pm–10pm) to ensure peak performance.

The role requires a Mechanical Fitter qualification, at least 2 years’ experience, and strong problem-solving, teamwork and communication skills. Benefits include a company pension and 26 days leave, with opportunities for training and development.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Mechanical Maintenance Fitter in manufacturing.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Set up, install, maintain and repair manufacturing equipment on a shift rotation (6am–2pm and 2pm–10pm).
• Provide day-to-day engineering services in a high-speed manufacturing environment to support production.
• Troubleshoot urgent issues, maintain safety standards, document work, and participate in an on-call rota (1 in 5 weeks).
• May be assigned additional related duties as required.

About Your New Job

What Skills You Need
