Jacobs is offering a Summer Internship Programme for Mechanical Engineering students. The eight-week placement runs in 2027 across hub offices in Ireland and the UK.

You will work with world-class professionals on exciting projects, gaining real-world experience and mentorship from leaders and programme champions. Applicants should be on track to graduate in 2028, be available 28th June 2027 – 20th August 2027, and have the right to work in Ireland.

Qualifications

• On track to complete a Mechanical Engineering degree in 2028.
• Self-starter with willingness to learn and develop new skills.
• Curiosity to apply skills to real-world problems.
• Empathy and listening to understand client needs.
• Active involvement in extra-curriculars or volunteering.
• Full right to work in Ireland.
• Penultimate year student, degree expected 2028.
