AECOM is seeking a Mechanical Technical Director for Data Centres in Dublin. You will lead the Data Centre team, provide engineering leadership, and shape technical delivery across the UK, EMEA and globally.

A strong track record in data centre projects, client engagement and business development is essential. You will drive standards, coordinate multi-disciplinary teams and ensure delivery aligns with client needs and project KPIs.

Qualifications

• Chartered Engineer with CIBSE or equivalent institute.
• Proven track record in leading DC project work in UK & across EMEA.
• Experience in work winning and client management.
• Strong leadership and development capabilities.
• Detailed knowledge of Mechanical design for Data Centres.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Data Centre team.
• Provide management and engineering grounding in the Data Centre sector.
• Ensure projects meet requirements and develop standards, quality and guidelines.
• Oversee the EMEA Data Centre sector technical delivery strategy.
• Involve in Work Winning and Business Development to provide MEP solutions in the DC Sector.
• Provide programme management and commercial oversight for major projects.
• Monitor project risk and KPIs, and support issue resolution.
• Partner with clients to understand their business and market changes.
