The position offers a salary up to €45k with progression opportunities and a hybrid work model after 6 months.

Qualifications

  • Strong interest or background in agriculture.
  • Skilled in AutoCAD 2D & 3D.
  • Knowledge of engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing.
  • Project management ability with strong attention to detail.
  • Full, clean driving licence.

Responsibilities

  • Design efficient farm layouts and animal flow systems.
  • Manage projects from concept to installation.
  • Produce manufacturing drawings and collaborate with production.
  • Research and develop new products to enhance farming systems.
  • Apply Lean principles to improve efficiency and reduce waste.

A family-founded business with 30+ years in agricultural manufacturing, now a leading supplier to Irish and international agri markets. Easily commutable from Cork City, Macroom, Ballincollig, Mallow, and Bandon.

Your New Mechanical Design Engineer Job:

We're looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer with a passion for agriculture. You'll work with farmers and sales teams to create innovative solutions that improve efficiency, safety, and animal welfare—taking projects from concept through design, production, and on-farm installation.
