Exciting Opportunity: Mechanical Construction Chargehand

We are seeking a Mechanical Construction Chargehand to join our team. In this role, you will oversee and coordinate activities of site teams on a designated project, ensuring all tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provide guidance, direction, and support to all tradespeople on site.
  • Assign tasks to team members, ensuring work aligns with project specifications and is completed on time.
  • Monitor the quality of work performed by the team, conduct inspections, and provide feedback to the site Foreman to ensure compliance.
  • Ensure adherence to Environmental, Health & Safety protocols, promoting a safe working environment at all times.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
Role Requirements:
  • Strong plumbing or pipefitting trade background.
  • Experience working on large and industrial projects.
  • Excellent organization and communication skills.
  • Minimum of 4 years' experience post-apprenticeship.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
