Position Summary:

As an ABEC Mechanical Assembler, you will assemble pieces of products using a variety of tools and equipment according to required specifications.

Responsibilities:
  1. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in the fabrication process.
  2. Knowledge of all types of hand tools, fabricating equipment, and measuring devices.
  3. Work on stainless steel fabrication, including but not limited to:
  • Cutting tubes
  • Operating hand grinders
  • Polishing and welding
  • Inspect and maintain proper and safe operation of all shop equipment.
  • Conduct operations in a safe manner.
  • Execute other tasks as assigned.
  • Ability to travel when required.
  • Qualifications:
    1. Trade qualification (Pipe fitter / Plumber) would be a distinct advantage.
    2. Experience working with stainless steel, tanks, piping, and vessels is beneficial.
    3. Ability to read tape measures and perform simple mathematical calculations.
    4. Aptitude for blueprint reading.
    5. Proficient with the use of hand tools and basic fabrication tools.
    6. Typical work is in a manufacturing environment or on a customer’s site.
