MECHANIC

COMPANY:

Our client provides maintenance, repair, and support services for commercial vehicles across Ireland. They are committed to delivering high-quality service and operational efficiency, and are now expanding their administrative and workshop management team.

THE ROLE:

The Naas-based Mechanic will be in an off the tools role and be responsible for:

• Carrying out quality checks on work completed by technicians and engineers.
• Ensuring technicians have the correct tools and equipment to carry out jobs efficiently.
• Managing scheduling and control over what engineers are working on.
• Maintaining accurate records to support invoicing and billing processes.
• Providing administrative support to the workshop team, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

THE PERSON:

Candidates should:

• Have prior experience in a workshop or commercial vehicle environment.
• Be highly organised with strong administrative and coordination skills.
• Possess excellent attention to detail, particularly around invoicing and record-keeping.
• Be proactive, reliable, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Be confident communicating with technicians, engineers, and management.

THE PACKAGE:

• Salary: €40,000 - €45,000 (DOE)
• Contract: Full-time, permanent
• Pension: 3% contributory scheme
• Bonus: 1.5% annual bonus
• Hours: Monday to Friday, office-based
