Thorntons Recycling in Ireland is seeking an experienced HGV mechanic to service and repair a multi-vehicle fleet within a modern workshop setting.

The role requires a valid driving licence and may involve after-hours or weekend work. Subsidised accommodation is available if required, with a 39-hour work week and competitive rates based on experience.

Qualifications

• Qualified Mechanic with workshop experience.
• Must hold a valid driving licence.
• Experience in the Waste Industry is advantageous.
• Experience with heavy mobile plant (diggers, loading shovels, grab machines).

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair a multi-vehicle fleet in a modern workshop.
