Real Life Science is looking for a proactive NMI Planner for a 12-month contract in Dublin. This role requires collaboration with various teams to facilitate the introduction of new GMP raw materials for Bulk Drug Substances manufacture, ensuring timely procurement and testing. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in project management, materials planning, and familiarity with key systems such as SAP ERP.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in SAP ERP and familiar with BOM creation, purchasing, MRP.
  • Strong project management and planning experience in cGMP raw material purchasing.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and drive schedule adherence.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with teams to identify requirements and suppliers.
  • Manage qualification of new vendors and materials.
  • Produce BDS Master Schedules/Plans and create Process Orders in SAP.

New Materials Introduction (NMI) Planner / Materials Planning Specialist

12 month Contract

Location: College Park, Dublin
Reports to: Senior Manager, Technical Services

Position Summary:
Real Life Science is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented NMI Planner. This role involves planning and project management for introducing new GMP raw materials for Bulk Drug Substances manufacture. The NMI Planner will collaborate with Technical Services, QA, QC, Warehouse, BDS Operations, and the Buyer to ensure materials are procured, tested, and released on schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with teams to identify requirements and suitable suppliers.
  • Attend Material Review Board and Supplier Review Board meetings.
  • Manage the qualification of new vendors and materials.
  • Support purchasing activities and develop a material needs schedule.
  • Produce BDS Master Schedules/Plans and create Process Orders in SAP.
  • Chair weekly calls to support NMI production for technology transfer.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in SAP ERP system and familiar with material master data, BOM creation, purchasing, MRP, and production planning.
  • Knowledge of Veeva Vault, SAP ECC, and Smart Sheet.
  • Strong project management, planning, and cGMP raw material purchasing understanding.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-directed, responsible, and capable of working with cross-functional groups.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and drive schedule adherence.

Education:

  • 3rd level qualification in Business, Materials Management, Supply Chain Management/Logistics, or equivalent such as APICS qualification.
  • Alternatively, a science-based 3rd level qualification with relevant industry experience in planning or raw materials management
