Job summary

Ingersoll Rand Compressor Systems & Services in Ireland, Dungarvan, seeks a Material Handler to support production by receiving, storing and delivering materials. The role involves basic preparation, inventory support, and maintaining an organized workshop to back production operations.

The ideal candidate will have experience in manufacturing/warehouse settings, read measurements, and operate hand and power tools safely. A forklift licence and strong attention to detail are required for success.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in manufacturing/warehouse environment preferred.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to read measurements and follow work instructions.
• Ability to perform manual handling duties safely.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, inspect, and store raw materials and supplies in designated storage locations.
• Pull, stage, and deliver materials and components to production workstations in accordance with job requirements.
• Maintain accurate material identification, labelling, and stock rotation practices.
• Assist with inventory counts and report material shortages or discrepancies to supervisors.
• Cut and prepare plastic materials to specified dimensions using basic workshop equipment where required.
• Support production teams by performing basic preparation tasks, including deburring, sanding, and material preparation.
• Assist with loading and unloading deliveries and finished products in a safe and efficient manner.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment while adhering to all company health and safety procedures.
