Job summary

You will evaluate demand signals, use ERP protocols to assess procurement needs, and initiate replenishment with suppliers to maintain a steady material flow and meet production targets.

Qualifications

• Degree qualification in a business/material planning-related discipline preferred; candidates with significant relevant industry experience will also be considered.
• Some years productions experience as purchaser or line power supplier.
• Logistic or warehouse management experience.
• Strong data interpretation capabilities, with expertise in navigating intricate production spreadsheets and operational metrics.
• Advanced technical knowledge of Material Requirements Planning principles and ERP systems like SAP or LN.

Responsibilities

• Assess demand signals by evaluating sales orders, customer trends, and predictive forecasts to determine necessary stock levels.
• Initiate replenishment actions through purchase orders to align with operational manufacturing targets.
• Coordinate delivery adjustments in response to design updates or production lineup changes.
• Regulate optimal supply levels by balancing safety stock thresholds to hit turnover objectives.
• Actively track pending supply chain commitments to identify potential disruptions and escalate as needed.
