Job summary

Ingersoll Rand Inc. in Ireland is seeking a Master Scheduler to lead demand planning, inventory management, and data analytics.

The role collaborates with Commercial, Operations, Finance, Customer Service, and Supply Planning to strengthen planning discipline and improve forecast quality. You will develop a rolling demand plan, balance service level with working capital, and translate complex data into actionable insights, using ERP (Oracle R12) and BI tools, with a focus on AI-enabled analytics

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Data Analytics, or related discipline preferred.
• 3–5 years in production planning, master scheduling, supply planning, inventory management, or supply chain analytics.
• APICS CPIM certification preferred; willing to obtain within 18 months of employment.
• Experience managing ERP planning systems, MRP processes, item master data, and inventory optimization initiatives.
• Experience developing reporting, dashboards, and performance metrics using BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Excel, or equivalent).
• Experience utilizing AI-enabled analytical tools and digital technologies to improve planning effectiveness and decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Lead the demand-planning cycle and develop a rolling 12–18 month demand plan by product family, item, customer, and market.
• Collaborate with Commercial, Finance, Customer Service, and Supply teams to capture market intelligence, promotions, new-product activity, risks, and opportunities.
• Analyse forecast accuracy, bias, demand volatility, backlog, and order trends; identify root causes and drive corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain inventory policies balancing service, availability, and working capital.
• Create and maintain dashboards and reporting for demand, forecast performance, inventory, service, backlog, and planning execution.
• Coordinate cross-functional actions to reduce excess inventory and improve material availability.
