The On-Demand business is a specialist medical supply company sourcing and distributing pharmaceuticals, medical equipment, and consumables to healthcare professionals in over 160 countries. We have offices in Ireland, UK, Europe, USA, and New Zealand. Our divisions include International Sales, NGO and Charity sales, Clinical Trials Supply, Imported (Unlicensed Medicines), Sexual Health Supplies, and storage/distribution of medical products and devices for third parties.

We are currently recruiting a Master Data Specialist within the Uniphar Group. This is a fixed-term position offering an excellent opportunity for career development within a dynamic, fast-paced environment at the heart of our growing business.

The successful candidate: must work effectively in a rapidly changing environment, meet overlapping deadlines, and develop a comprehensive understanding of our Master Data processes and procedures to ensure data accuracy and regulatory compliance. Key responsibilities include data modelling and visualization activities to ensure data consistency, particularly during our transition to ERP, WMS, and MDM platforms. A significant focus is on developing the xDM platform as part of the Semarchy Project, aiming for it to be used across the business. The candidate will work within a project team to develop technical solutions in xDM to deliver business value.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of SQL Script, preferably SemQL
  • Experience testing and resolving xDM-related bugs
  • Knowledge of Automate Studios/Precisely script writing
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel—formulas, VLOOKUPs, macros, etc.
  • Knowledge of SAP, iWac, Cache, and SharePoint is an advantage
  • Good planning, organizing, and time management skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in a busy, fast-moving environment
