Job summary

MORROW HEALTH is seeking a skilled Massage Therapist to deliver professional massage and body treatments, ensuring guest comfort and safety while maintaining a clean, organized environment. You will build strong connections with MORROW members and contribute to future bookings by educating guests on treatment benefits.

Ideal candidates hold a valid massage certificate and have at least two years of spa experience.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid certificate in massage services (e.g. CIBTAC/CIDESCO/ITEC/WSQ qualifications).
• At least 2 years of experience as a Spa/Massage therapist.
• Good communication skills with a warm, caring attitude towards guests and MORROW members.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a variety of massage services and body treatments while prioritizing guest comfort and safety.
• Assess guest needs and contraindications before each service.
• Escort guests to treatment rooms and check in to ensure comfort.
• Maintain clean treatment rooms and recovery zone areas at all times.
• Assist in operations across Reception, Retail, Relaxation and Recovery areas.
• Stay up-to-date with current techniques and modalities in your field.
• Monitor time schedule and perform daily duties as assigned by your supervisor.

Role Overview

As the Massage Therapist, you willberesponsible forproviding professionaland exceptionalmassage and body treatments, ensuring client comfort and safety,maintaininga clean and organized work environment, and contributing to the overall operational efficiency and guest satisfaction of the establishment.

Youare responsible fordelivering treatments offered by Morrow, building a deep personal connection with members.You will also play a critical role indriving future bookings with returning members, educating memberson the treatment benefits, and ensuring that value is consistently realised. By living and modelling the six pillars in your own life, you will be able to speak authentically and confidentlyabout the benefits offered by the Recovery Zone. You will alsowork closely with the rest of the Recovery Zone team to ensure the best possible experience for all members at the Recovery Zone.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional treatments:

• Perform a variety of massage services usingappropriatetoolsand products. Provideface andbody treatments includingfacials,scrubs, wraps, and hydrotherapy, always prioritizing guest comfort and safety.

ProvideGuest-focused care:

• Assess guest needs and inquire/ readabouttheircontraindications (e.g., allergies, high blood pressure, pregnancy) before each service.
• Be punctual for all appointments and thoroughly review them post-treatment, including entering preferences and notes of each guest into the system.
• Escort guests to and from treatment rooms,checking in to ensure their comfort throughout the service.
• Courteously interact with guests, answering all spa andwellness centre relatedquestions.
• Handle inappropriate guest behaviour by following standard operating procedures, which may include stopping a treatment and informing a supervisor.

Maintain a pristine environment:

• Keepalltreatment roomsandrecovery zone areasclean and neat at all times.
• Keepthetreatment room,rest area clean and neatat all times, arranging tools,equipmentand linenmeticulously.
• Clean,maintain, and sterilize tools.
• Dispose of trash and dirty linens, and secure supplies and equipment at the end of each shift.

Operational support:

• Assistin the operations as needed, including theReceptionarea, Retail Area, Relaxation Area, Preparation Room,andRecovery Zone areas.
• Maintainan accurateinventory of supplies for treatment rooms.
• Report any dysfunctional equipment to theRecovery Zone Managerpromptly.

Professional Development& Teamwork:

• Stayup-to-datewith current techniques and modalities in your field.
• Attend daily line-ups, weekly, and monthlyRecovery Zonemeetings.
• Assistand perform various demonstrations and events asrequired.
• Adhere to all internal standards and procedures to ensure a consistently high standard of service throughout theRecovery Zone.
• Monitor and stick to your time schedule throughout the day.
• Perform all daily assignedmassagetherapist tasks and other duties as assigned by your supervisor,maintaininga friendly and professional business attitude.

Requirements

• Possess a valid certificate in massage services (E.g. CIBTAC/CIDESCO/ITEC/WSQ qualifications)
