As Marketing Director, PR & Events, you will shape the external voice and market presence of a fast-growing global travel technology business. You will lead brand strategy, public relations, communications, events, and digital storytelling to strengthen brand recognition and accelerate commercial growth. Working across travel, fintech, hospitality, and AI, you will transform complex technology into compelling narratives that resonate with strategic partners and industry leaders. You will own initiatives from concept to execution, combining creative direction with hands‑on delivery in a fast-paced, international environment. Partnering closely with Sales, Product, Growth, and executive leadership, you will ensure every campaign, announcement, and event supports measurable business outcomes. This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic yet execution-focused marketing leader to build a distinctive brand and influence the future of global travel technology.

Accountabilities

  • Brand Strategy and Creative Direction: Own brand positioning, messaging, narrative, and visual identity, ensuring a consistent and distinctive presence across all communication channels and customer touchpoints.

  • Develop compelling messaging that resonates with travel platforms, fintech companies, hospitality providers, and hotel distribution partners, strengthening brand credibility and market positioning.

  • Define creative direction for product launches, marketing campaigns, presentations, events, and brand activations, while actively contributing to design and content production.

  • Public Relations and Communications: Lead the end-to-end PR strategy, including press releases, strategic partnership announcements, executive messaging, media relations, and thought leadership initiatives.

  • Build and maintain relationships with relevant travel, technology, and business media, identifying high-impact media opportunities and planning communications activities around key business priorities.

  • Increase executive visibility through interviews, speaking engagements, industry commentary, and other opportunities that establish credibility and thought leadership.

  • Events and Industry Engagement: Develop and manage the events strategy in collaboration with Sales, identifying the most relevant travel, technology, fintech, and AI conferences and industry gatherings.

  • Lead the planning, branding, sponsorship, and execution of events, including executive dinners, industry activations, and company-hosted experiences.

  • Ensure events contribute to relationship development, qualified pipeline generation, and commercial growth by tracking performance and measuring business impact.

  • Content and Social Media: Define and execute an editorial strategy across LinkedIn, the corporate website, and other relevant communication channels.

  • Translate product developments, technology innovations, partnerships, and company milestones into engaging stories that communicate value clearly to diverse audiences.

  • Support executives and internal teams in developing consistent, compelling content that amplifies the brand's voice and industry presence.

  • Digital Brand Experience: Manage the brand experience across the website and key digital touchpoints, collaborating with Product and Growth teams to improve consistency, engagement, and effectiveness.

  • Create and optimize landing pages, marketing assets, and digital content directly, leveraging AI-powered tools to accelerate production and execution.

  • Building the Marketing Function: Establish brand guidelines, templates, workflows, and communication processes that enable consistent messaging across the organization.

  • Coordinate external agencies, freelancers, and strategic partners as needed, expanding marketing capabilities in line with demonstrated business impact.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure brand, PR, content, and events initiatives support broader commercial objectives, strengthen market visibility, and generate measurable growth.

Requirements:

  • At least 6–8 years of experience in marketing, brand management, public relations, communications, or events, ideally within a fast-growing technology, SaaS, fintech, or travel-tech company.

  • Proven ability to develop and execute brand strategies that strengthen market positioning, increase visibility, and support business growth.

  • Strong storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex technical products, APIs, infrastructure, and AI innovations into clear, engaging, and memorable narratives.

  • Demonstrated experience leading PR strategies and media relations, including managing sensitive partnership announcements and coordinating external communications.

  • Confidence representing an organization externally and working closely with senior executives on thought leadership, messaging, and public-facing initiatives.

  • Experience conceptualizing, planning, and delivering industry events, product launches, sponsorships, and brand activations with measurable outcomes.

  • A strong eye for design and visual communication, with the ability to direct creative work while personally producing high‑quality marketing assets, web pages, and content.

  • Familiarity with AI-powered tools and modern marketing technologies to improve productivity, streamline workflows, and accelerate content creation.

  • Ability to balance strategic planning with hands‑on execution, taking ownership of initiatives from initial concept through delivery and performance evaluation.

  • Strong project management, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple priorities in a fast-moving, international environment.

  • A proactive, adaptable, and results-oriented mindset, with a preference for making decisions, testing ideas, learning quickly, and delivering tangible outcomes.

  • Nice to have: Experience in the travel or hospitality industry, particularly hotel technology, hotel distribution, or travel platforms, as well as an established network across travel media and industry events.

  • Comfortable working in a high-ownership environment where autonomy, creativity, speed, and accountability are essential.
