The Role

This is a remote first role operating in a dynamic, high-pressure trading environment supporting multifaceted technology systems and working directly with member firms to expand market access and understanding.

Key responsibilities

• Executing and maintaining daily operational procedures
• Developing expertise with exchange systems, market functionality, and order types
• Designing, building, and maintaining automation scripts
• Conducting testing with members and supporting client requests
• Performing data analysis to troubleshoot issues and improve operational efficiency
• Collaborating across Technology, Product, Business Development, and Compliance teams
• Participating in industry tests and product development initiatives

The Candidate

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 7+ years operational experience on a trading/operations desk
• Strong knowledge of electronic trading and trading systems
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently
• Interest in developing Python programming and automation skills

Nice to have

• Python programming experience with automation focus
• Data analysis experience with large datasets
• Familiarity with Git or similar versioning systems
• Knowledge of micro-market structure and order book behaviour
