Job Description

Do you have experience working in the maritime industry, a keen interest in maritime shipping & logistics? A knack for blending commercial strategies with technical innovation? The Net Feasa PLM is instrumental in driving the end-to-end success of our products, enhancing existing features, developing new ones and maintaining a deep understanding of customer needs & market dynamics. This role encompasses everything from the ideation phase to product lifecycle management, requiring a dedication to enhancing customer satisfaction. The PLM maintains & monitors a portfolio of assigned products/ product lines. Defines products, prioritises development & sustaining activities and develops pricing, positioning, and promotion strategies. Utilises product & market intelligence and competitive analysis with the objective of increasing market share. The PLM is a customer advocate, fully understanding the customer’s business and articulating any relevant market problems to develop requirements for new products/features. Liaises with Engineering throughout the development cycle, while continuously working to ensure market success when development is complete.

    • Utilise Market Research & inputs from Sales, Engineering & Support to establish market needs
    • Maintain NF product vision; technical & market strategy
      • Target Market segments, technical & commercial requirements to differentiate and win
      • Functions & features
      • Branding conventions
      • Integrations and partnership requirements
    • Lifecycle management: Maintain time-based Product Roadmap (Stages 1-6)
    • Work across functions to ensure execution plans are in place, resourced and on schedule
      • Production, Delivery, Installation & Support plans
      • Customer documentation
      • Certification, Cyber Security etc
    • Maintain business & tactical go-to-market plans for assigned product lines
      • Sales support/tools (i.e.proposals, scorecards)
    • Monitor market & technical performance (feedback loop to drive adjustments)
Experience

Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Logistics, Supply Chain or a related field. Equivalent experience will be considered. 2-5 Years Maritime Product Line Management or directly related industry experience required. Experience developing products & applications for the maritime shipping & logistics industries. Understanding of the shipping, logistics, transportation and communications technology industries, processes & regulations. Ability to work with cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers, marketing personnel. Effectively communicate with stakeholders & present complex information. Problem-solving. Project management methodology knowledge. Analyse data, identify trends, data-driven decisions. Learn new technologies, adapt to changing business needs. Understand business processes, product development workflows, PLM contribution to improving efficiency, profitability.
