Abbott Diabetes Care Kilkenny is recruiting Manufacturing Technicians to keep automated production lines running safely and efficiently. This hands-on role offers opportunities for skill development and career progression within a modern, highly automated manufacturing site.

Qualifications

• Level 6 qualification in a technical/engineering discipline.
• Foundational mechanical and/or electrical knowledge.
• Experience with CMMS or data-driven maintenance systems is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, fault diagnosis and repairs on production equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and pneumatic systems on automated lines.
• Monitor machine performance, support OEE and yield targets.
• Use data and CMMS to identify issues and drive improvements.
• Train and support operators on production equipment.

This is a hands‐on technical role where you’ll play a critical role in ensuring our automated production lines run safely, efficiently, and reliably.
