Job summary

Abbott Laboratories Ireland is seeking a Manufacturing Shift Lead to guide a dynamic team, ensure production targets and schedules are met, and drive improvements in productivity and quality.

You will develop and implement operating procedures, lead performance assessments, and maintain safety and compliance in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Third-level qualification in Engineering, Manufacturing, Science, or related field.
• At least 4 years in a similar manufacturing environment.
• Experience in strategic gross margin improvement projects.
• Proven team leadership experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Meet manufacturing schedules and produce the required volume and product mix.
• Support problem-solving for plant and equipment to achieve quality and production goals.
• Achieve productivity, quality, and cost objectives.
• Contribute to creating work instructions and operating procedures.
• Complete performance excellence assessments and development plans.
• Lead efforts to protect health, safety, and the environment.

As a Manufacturing Shift Lead, you'll support and develop a dynamic team, ensuring production targets and schedules are met.
