Job summary

Morgan McKinley in Dublin is seeking a Manufacturing Operator to run production lines efficiently, meeting output targets and maintaining GMP standards on the shop floor.

You will complete Batch Manufacturing Records, support set-ups, handle controlled drugs responsibly, and work with the supervisor to resolve issues, while embracing continuous improvement, teamwork and a positive, can-do attitude.

Qualifications

• Experience in GMP environment preferred.
• Ability to work in a team on manufacturing lines.
• Good time-keeping and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Operate manufacturing lines in an efficient manner to meet output targets.
• Ensure equipment and area are cleaned to GMP standards before use.
• Prepare set-up of machines and equipment, conduct in-process testing.
• Complete Batch Manufacturing Records and reconcile BMRs.
• Report problems to Manufacturing Supervisor/Manager.
• Maintain high GMP standards and housekeeping; inspect non-conforming batches.
• Handle and store Controlled Drugs per procedures.
• Adhere to health, safety and environmental requirements; perform other duties.
• Use MES, SAP, Trackwise, Documentum, etc.
• Seek process improvements and upskill.

Job description

Key responsibilities for this role include:

• Operate manufacturing lines in efficient manner in accordance with the relevant SOP's to ensure required output targets are achieve
• Ensure that the manufacturing equipment and area is cleaned to GMP standards prior to use
• Responsible for the preparatory set up machines and equipment, and product in process testing, and for product condition during
• Complete the Batch Manufacturing Record and the reconciliations of the BMR according to relevant O.P.`s.
• Report directly to Manufacturing Supervisor or Manager, if any problems or damage
• Responsible for a high standard of GMP and good housekeeping, and for inspection of batches that do not meet the quality
• Responsible for the handling and storage of Controlled Drugs in accordance with relevant procedures, ensuring product
• Adhere to all company and legislative health, safety and environmental requirements, and perform any other duties as assigned by Manufacturing Supervisor /
• User of Manufacturing support software packages g. MES, SAP, Trackwise, Documentum etc.
• Constantly look to improve the process and to learn new skills

The minimum qualifications for this role are:

• Leaving Certificate or equivalent
• Candidates are required to be able to work different shift patterns plus overtime when (4 Cycle, 24-7 shift pattern)

• Candidates are required to have a good understanding of the requirements of Good Manufacturing (Ideally candidates have experience of working in a GMP environment).
