Job summary

Sigmar Recruitment is delighted to assist a global market leader in engineering and manufacturing in Ireland in recruiting a Maintenance Electrician. The role will involve installing, maintaining, and supporting manufacturing equipment within a busy production environment.

You will plan layouts, install or modify wiring, apparatus and control equipment, and perform repairs or replacements as necessary, while leading preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and collaboration with production teams

Qualifications

• Electrical Trade Qualification with a minimum of 1 year's experience. Manufacturing is an advantage.
• Experience with electrical fault finding, troubleshooting, and repair.
• Good knowledge of industrial equipment and machinery.
• Experience or understanding of Preventive Maintenance Software.
• Self-motivated, proactive, flexible, and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and support manufacturing equipment within a busy production environment.
• Plan layouts, install or modify wiring, apparatus, and control equipment, and conduct repairs or replacements as necessary.
• Play a key role in preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, supporting the production team, and maximizing plant efficiency.
• Be a part of an integral maintenance team, working factory shifts (6am-2pm & 2pm-10pm, including intermittent on-call weeks).
• Ensure safety, compliance with procedures, and collaborate with contractors and internal teams.
