Overview

I'm currently working a Manufacturing Engineer role with one of our Meath based clients. This is a full time on site role. In this role, you will play a key role in driving continuous improvement to enhance manufacturing quality, reliability and cost efficiency.

Responsibilities

The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for improving existing processes and equipment to increase efficiency through reengineering, fixture design, automation, and participation in kaizen initiatives. The position also offers broad exposure across multiple areas, including equipment maintenance, customer interactions, Health & Safety, product costing, and collaboration within an international engineering group to resolve challenges and implement innovative solutions.

Qualifications

Desired Qualifications / Skills

  • Strong background in manufacturing process development and equipment validation (highly desirable).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Ideally 3+ years’ experience in the medical device sector or another regulated industry.
  • Project management experience, particularly with equipment installations or new product introductions, is advantageous but not essential.
  • Interest in process efficiency, automation, and continuous improvement.
  • Familiarity with LEAN and Six Sigma methodologies
