Floor Manager position
Contract: Full time 40 hours (Permanent)
Job Description: Reporting to the Store Manager, you will be responsible for the general running of the floor. You will ensure that sales targets are achieved, and customer service is at its highest level. You will be responsible for leading and motivating your team and maintaining an active and pleasant atmosphere in the store at all times.
40 hours per week over 5 days - Monday to Sunday - full flexibility required.
Responsibilities
- To ensure and provide an excellent level of customer service in the store
- To ensure the team possesses good product knowledge and is aware of the key performance indicators
- To be familiar with and offer services according to the needs of customers in order to maximise sales
- To organise and distribute tasks and positions to each member of the team
- To ensure that sales targets are implemented, achieved and exceeded in store
- To prioritise customer service above all other tasks
- To communicate actively with the team and pass on any information that may affect sales
- To coach each employee in their training and development, leading by example
Visual Merchandiser position
Contract: Full Time 40 hours (Permanent). Full flexibility required
Job Description: Coordinates visual merchandising efforts for fashion merchandise, including apparel, accessories and footwear. Designs window/floor displays for seasonal and commercial apparel lines and accessory collections. Conceptualizes and creates original display designs and/or redesigns existing displays as needed to appeal to the target market.
Responsibilities
- To be responsible for the store image at all times, ensuring that it is attractive and commercial
- To apply the visual merchandising standards and guidelines
- To perform store changes in a quick and orderly manner
- To optimise the selling space through the correct use of tools for analysing and calculating profitability
- To be aware of sales figures and performance indicators to take product-based measures accordingly
- To adapt and react to the sales results by finding solutions in order to make the store more commercial
- To be aware of the customer profile, the product potential and the commercial strategies of competitors
- To ensure replenishment and additional orders for the store to have the right product
- To communicate with the team about new products, merchandising changes and make suggestions regarding out-of-stock garments
- To continuously report to the management team and support them in specific managerial store duties
