EMEA Inside Sales is crucial to the success of the global Commercial Sales organization. As a team leader, you will play a key role in establishing, developing, and adding value to MathWorks customers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

The Inside Sales Manager will be part of the EMEA Shared Sales and Services Centre, responsible for over half of the license and training sales opportunities, generated through inbound inquiries and proactive outbound prospecting. Specifically, you will:

  • Manage a team of Inside Sales Reps across EMEA (8 European field offices, Middle East, and Africa).
  • Collaborate with a larger sales team including Field Sales Reps, Sales Development Reps, License Renewals Reps, and Pre-Sales Engineers.
  • Ensure a consultative sales approach to move opportunities from qualification to close, increasing value, shortening sales cycles, and improving win rates.
  • Lead prospecting initiatives to identify, develop, and close new opportunities through proactive campaigns.
  • Accurately forecast and manage the sales funnel, maintaining quality and adhering to Salesforce standards.
  • Contribute to the development of the global Inside Sales function, including strategy, initiatives, and projects.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree and 7 years of professional experience (or equivalent), including at least 2 years in management.
Additional Qualifications
  • Experience managing with Salesforce CRM.
  • Background in consultative selling approaches.
  • Experience leading multilingual, multicultural teams in shared sales & services or global business centers.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
  • Knowledge of forecasting and funnel management.
  • Experience in scaling shared sales & services or global business centers.
