Job description

MongoDB is looking for a Manager, Executive Experiences & Operations to serve as the operational backbone of the Strategic Executive Experiences team within Marketing. Reporting to senior leadership on the team, this role will own the infrastructure that enables MongoDB’s highest-visibility executive-facing external and internal programs to scale efficiently — spanning attendee management systems, registration processes, communications workflows, documentation, project coordination, procurement support, and program governance.

This role is ideal for a highly organized program operator who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys building structure from complexity. We are looking for someone who can manage multiple workstreams simultaneously, create scalable operating systems, and bring exceptional execution support to programs that reach MongoDB’s most senior stakeholders and executives. While strategic program ownership rests with others on the team, a strong executive presence and service-minded approach are essential — this role exists to give senior leaders and program owners the operational leverage to focus on executive engagement, experience design, and program delivery.

We are looking to speak to candidates who are based in Dublin or Cork for our hybrid working model.

What you’ll do
  • Own and maintain the operational systems and infrastructure supporting MongoDB’s executive-facing and internal programs, including attendee management platforms, registration processes, and program governance
  • Build and manage project plans, timelines, trackers, and standardized operating procedures that enable consistent, scalable program execution across the team
  • Drive process improvements that increase efficiency, cross-functional synergy, and operational consistency across the program portfolio
  • Manage attendee registration platforms end-to-end — tracking status and data accuracy, maintaining participant databases and dashboards, and coordinating invitation and communications workflows
  • Coordinate deployment of attendee and event communications, manage communications calendars and approval workflows, and maintain event microsites and attendee-facing platforms
  • Coordinate cross-functional project timelines and milestone tracking across Marketing, Sales, Finance, Procurement, Travel, Communications, and external vendor partners
  • Identify operational risks and proactively escalate issues requiring leadership attention to keep programs on schedule across multiple concurrent initiatives
  • Support procurement workflows, contract routing, vendor onboarding, and budget tracking — including invoices, purchase requests, and financial reporting documentation
  • Provide hands‑on operational support during live program execution, including attendee services, registration functions, run-of-show documentation, and onsite issue resolution
  • Support post‑event reporting, retrospectives, and continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen team scalability and execution quality
We’re looking for someone with
  • 5+ years of experience in program management, event operations, business operations, or a related field in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment
  • Demonstrated ability to build and manage scalable workflows, organizational systems, and standardized operating procedures across complex, concurrent programs
  • Experience managing multiple high‑stakes projects simultaneously with exceptional attention to detail and follow‑through
  • Strong operating instincts, including building planning rhythms, project documentation, accountability structures, and cross‑functional coordination mechanisms
  • Experience working cross‑functionally with diverse stakeholder groups across Marketing, Finance, Procurement, and external vendor partners
  • Familiarity with attendee management and registration platforms and the operational processes that support large‑scale executive or corporate programs
  • Experience navigating procurement workflows, vendor administration, and budget tracking processes
  • Strong executive presence and communication skills, with comfort operating in high‑visibility environments alongside senior leaders and executives
  • A customer‑obsessed, service‑mindful approach with the ability to anticipate needs before they become issues
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity, managing competing priorities, and creating structure where it doesn’t yet exist
  • Background in technology, SaaS, or fast‑growing corporate environments preferred
