Job Summary:

The Manager of Accounting will be responsible for the oversight of local and statutory reporting for Leasing. They will support the preparation of financials, and compliance reporting. Reporting directly into the Finance VP, this individual will be responsible for variance analysis, accuracy of reporting and escalation of key risks to the Leasing executive team. Additionally, they will oversee and support the Leasing Accounting Analysts creating a culture of accountability.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide accounting support to senior management, corporate finance, external auditors and consolidations

• Prepare and analyze financial results, ensuring financial statements are prepared in accordance with IFRS

• Prepare, analyze and submit required statutory reporting in compliance with IRE accounting standards

• Perform general accounting, manage period-end close and financial reporting, including:

• Maintain knowledge of Leasing and IRE business to develop required entries

• Perform variance analysis and monitor accuracy of IRE results

• Prepare schedules and reports for management and/or auditors

• Support the off-balance sheet treatment of IRE debt structures

Key Interactions:

• Analysis to support global management and financial performance of Element Leasing by the Shared Services, FP&A and Accounting function

• Data to inform decisions made by the IRE Executive Team

• Coordinate with the Syndications function to accurately reflect syndication asset values and entries

Qualifications, Education, and Experience:

• BA/BS degree in accounting or finance.

• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including public accounting (Big 4 preferred) and a minimum of 4-5 years of prior management experience.Experience with financial instruments and related transactions (leasing, derivatives, etc.) preferred.

• Knowledge of local statutory reporting requirements in IFRS required

• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).Strong proficiency in Excel.Accounting and reporting systems.

• Experience in SAP or similar ERP systems preferred.

• Demonstrated experience with automation tools (e.g., Alteryx) and process improvement methodologies preferred
