Job summary

Sigmar Recruitment is assisting a busy client site in Dungarvan, County Waterford, Ireland, by recruiting a Maintenance Technician – Plumbing. This is a permanent, multi-skilled facilities role offering long-term career stability.

You will carry out plumbing maintenance, repairs, installations and servicing across the site, support wider mechanical/building-services maintenance, and work with the helpdesk to complete requests safely and efficiently. A full clean driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Qualified Plumbing trade background is essential.
• Experience in general mechanical and building-services maintenance is desirable.
• Strong multi-skilled facilities maintenance experience is an advantage.
• Knowledge of BMS and control systems would be beneficial.
• Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
• Full clean driving licence.
• Flexibility to work occasional weekends when required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out plumbing maintenance, repairs, installations and servicing across the site.
• Support wider mechanical and building-services maintenance, with training available to develop your multi-skilled capabilities.
• Diagnose and resolve maintenance issues efficiently while maintaining high standards of safety and workmanship.
• Prepare permits and supervise subcontractors when required.

What’s on Offer

• €26–€27 per hour, equivalent to approximately €54K–€56K per year based on a 40-hour week.
