Job summary

Sanofi in Waterford seeks a Maintenance Technician to support operations, lead planned maintenance and equipment setup to the highest standard.

The role involves developing improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations, ensuring adherence to Quality, Safety and cGMP standards. A 23-month FTC is offered with a strong emphasis on continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years experience as a Maintenance Technician in a multi-skilled team environment.
• Junior & Senior Trade Certificate or an equivalent third level qualification.
• 2 years experience in pharmaceutical-manufacturing environment (advantageous).
• Electrical capabilities (advantageous).

Responsibilities

• Carry out repair and maintenance tasks of all Process equipment to achieve production output in compliance with Quality, Safety and cGMP standards.
• Input data into Maintenance PM System and operate related systems.
• Train others on equipment, maintenance tasks, setup procedures and safety awareness.
• Operate and maintain all equipment to achieve production targets.
• Complete all duties per relevant SOPs and ensure documentation is accurate and timely.

Main responsibilities

• To carry out repair and Maintenance tasks of all Process, so as to achieve an acceptable level of production output in full compliance with Quality and Safety and cGMP Standards
• Input of data into Maintenance PM System including the operation of such systems
• Working with one’s own initiative and assuming responsibility whenever the need arises
• May be required to train others on all equipment, Maintenance tasks, set up procedures and safety awareness
• To operate and maintain all equipment, so as to achieve an acceptable level of production output
• Complete all duties as per relevant Sop’s
• Adhere to all relevant dress requirements with respect to cGMP’s and PPE rules
• Conduct all maintenance duties in a safe manner and report all safety issues or concerns
• Maintain the required standard of housekeeping in both the maintenance workshop/facilities area.
• Ensure all required documentation is completed accurately and on time
• Ensure good time keeping and attendance at place of work
• Support team in achieving team goals and targets.

About you

Essential requirements

The salary range for this position is :€41.600,00 - €55.467 Final compensation will be determined based on demonstrated experience, skills, location, and other relevant factors. Employees may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs.
