Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Diagnosticar problemas de equipamentos na linha de montagem, realizar reparos e manter registros de manutenção.
  • Documentar qualificações de equipamentos e upgrades, incluindo manutenção preventiva e peças utilizadas (AMIGO).
  • Manter equipamentos sobressalentes e garantir níveis adequados de peças para atender às necessidades da fabricação.
  • Auxiliar engenheiros industriais, de manufatura e de qualidade na operação de equipamento.
  • Fornecer feedback aos engenheiros de desenvolvimento de equipamento
  • Auxiliar na montagem de mesas de trabalho e adaptar estações para a produção.

Purpose Statement

Provides technical support relating to equipment utilised in the manufacturing areas by repairing, maintaining, or modifying production equipment utilising technical expertise, technical manuals, schematic drawings, precision tools, and test equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for compliance with applicable corporate and divisional policies and procedures.
  • Responds to assembly line equipment repair calls, by diagnosing equipment problems, and performing the necessary repair.
  • Documents equipment qualifications and upgrades made to existing machines, including preventative maintenance performed and parts used, to ensure appropriate documentation of repair history in Asset Management Integrating Global Operations (AMIGO).
  • Maintains back-up equipment and ensures spare parts are maintained at the required levels, to meet manufacturing equipment needs.
  • Assists industrial, manufacturing, and quality engineers in the operation of equipment.
  • Provides equipment development engineers with feedback on equipment issues and offers suggestions for improving equipment uptime.
  • Assist in the construction of worktables, providing necessary utilities, and setting up of equipment on manufacturing assembly lines.
  • Modifies existing assembly lines or workstations are required to accommodate manufacturing demands.
Education & Job Skills
  • National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ) level 6 qualification in a relevant discipline and +4 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Applies extensive knowledge of advanced technical concepts and practices, and a complete understanding of product or systems fundamentals in a functional area, and working knowledge of other related disciplines.
  • Utilises/interprets advanced numerical and statistical data and computer software programs to present documentation and analysis and resolve complex problems.
  • Will be performing this job in a quality system environment.
  • Failure to adequately perform tasks can result in noncompliance with governmental regulations.

  • Performs complex technical assignment usually without established procedures.
  • Assists in the design, development, evaluation or modification of all area-specific equipment, materials, systems, and/or product.
  • May determine types of tests or develop preventative maintenance plans.
