Job summary

Catalyx is seeking a maintenance professional to service automated pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment on site. You will work with the Manufacturing team to support daily operations and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

The role requires a Leaving Certificate and a Trades Certificate with at least five years of GMP experience, plus proven maintenance expertise in a regulated setting. You will contribute to equipment reliability and safety across manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

• Leaving Certificate and Trades Certificate with 5+ years GMP experience.
• Proven maintenance experience in a regulated automated manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical equipment operations, process manufacturing, OEE, MTBF and failure analysis.
• Experience working in cross-functional teams within regulated settings.
• Experience in Food, biotech or pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment maintenance operations.

Responsibilities

• Resolve day-to-day engineering issues and provide guidance on compliance queries.
• Support Continuous Improvement by improving equipment performance and reliability (OEE).
• Perform routine maintenance following SOPs and cGMPs; maintain and review tasks and procedures.
• Report downtime accurately and coordinate maintenance with the Manager.
• Comply with safety regulations and update CMMS with maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams including external contractors.

The role is to perform maintenance and repairs of automated pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment. Partner with the Manufacturing team to deliver & support day to day operations within manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities:

Resolve day-to-day Engineering issues and advice regarding compliance queries. Support the Continuous Improvement process by passionately seeking ways to improve equipment performance and reliability E.g., OEE Work on routine assignments following established SOPs and cGMPs. Maintain and review existing maintenance tasks and procedures to ensure they are up to date and accurate. Report accurately on all equipment downtime. Coordinate maintenance on critical systems / equipment with Manager. Complie with all safety regulations. Perform planned maintenance activities and is responsible for updating the CMMS system accordingly. Partner with a team of Engineering and maintenance personnel which shall include external contractors.

Requirements:

Leaving Certificate and Trades Certificate along with a minimum 5 years of relevant GMP experience or equivalent. Proven maintenance experience in a regulated automated manufacturing environment. Demonstrates knowledge of pharmaceutical equipment operations, process manufacturing, OEE, MTBF, and root cause failure analysis supporting an equipment reliability centred maintenance program Effectively participates in cross-functional teams. Previous experience in Food, biotech, or pharmaceutical Manufacturing Equipment Maintenance Operations
