Job summary

A leading engineering firm is seeking a qualified maintenance plumber to join their Maintenance Division in Dublin. The position requires over 5 years of experience in mechanical trades with a focus on commercial and industrial plumbing. Duties include installing plumbing systems, diagnosing faults, performing repairs, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently are essential. Candidates must have a current Safe pass and relevant qualifications.

• 5+ years post mechanical trade qualification essential.
• Industrial and Commercial experience are essential.
• Current Safe pass required.

Responsibilities

• Install commercial plumbing and heating systems.
• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs.
• Maintain and service commercial plant equipment.
• Carry out routine inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Repair leaks, blockages, and faults.
• Install and maintain hot and cold-water services.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records.

Job description

Purpose of Role

Due to continued growth, we are currently looking for a qualified maintenance plumber to join our Maintenance Division in Dublin and surrounding areas.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Install commercial plumbing and heating systems in accordance with design specifications and regulations.
• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on plumbing and heating systems.
• Maintain and service commercial plant equipment including pumps, expansion vessels, pressurisation units, and associated pipework.
• Carry out routine inspections and preventative maintenance on plumbing and heating systems.
• Repair leaks, blockages, and faults in water supply, drainage, and heating systems.
• Install and maintain hot and cold-water services.
• Ensure all works are completed in compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and complete job reports where required.
• Work independently or as part of a maintenance team to respond to service requests and breakdowns.
• Liaise with supervisors, contractors, and site management to coordinate works.
• Ensure tools, materials, and work areas are maintained in a safe and tidy condition.

Role Requirements
