Job summary

Elusav Recruitment is seeking a Maintenance Fitter for a leading water and wastewater solutions provider in Dublin. You will join a Mechanical Team and supervise contractors, carrying out preventative maintenance on process plant.

You will work on troubleshooting, continuous improvement initiatives and ensure all activities are documented in MAXIMO CMMS, contributing to optimal equipment uptime.

Qualifications

• Maintenance Fitter Craft Certificate or equivalent is required.
• Experience with mechanical maintenance and plant equipment is essential.
• MAXIMO CMMS knowledge is a plus and beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a mechanical team and supervise contractors for maintenance, repairs and installations.
• Carry out preventative maintenance on plant.
• Maintain clean and orderly engineering area.
• Identify, quantify, implement and present equipment continuous improvement projects.
• Ensure maintenance tasks comply with site policies and procedures.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues to determine root causes and coordinate repairs.
• Record all maintenance activities in MAXIMO CMMS.
• Support production and engineering on improvements and monitor equipment performance.
• Minimise downtime through fast response and effective problem solving.
• Contribute to ongoing optimization of maintenance routines.

As the Maintenance Fitter you will be working as part of a Mechanical Team and supervising contractors for maintenance, repairs and installations, alongside with carrying out preventative maintenance work on plant.

Responsibilities:

• Working as part of a Mechanical Team and supervising contractors for maintenance, repairs and installations.
• Carry out preventative maintenance work on plant.
• Maintain Engineering area in terms of good house keeping.
• Contribute on identification, quantification, implementation and presentation of equipment continuous improvement projects.
• Making sure maintenance tasks are completed in accordance with site policies and procedures.
• Troubleshoot equipment related process problems and equipment failures to determine cause and to investigate repairs.
• Ensure effective completion and ongoing review of planned equipment maintenance routines on MAXIMO (site CMMS).
• Ensure all executed maintenance activities are recorded on MAXIMO (site CMMS).
• Support Engineering and Production personnel on continuous improvements and monitor equipment in order to recommend process improvements.
• Minimise downtime on equipment, through fast response, effective root cause analysis and good problem solving techniques.
• Effective analysis and elimination of recurring equipment problems.

Requirements:

• Maintenance Fitter Craft Certificate or equivalent.
• Expertise and knowledge of a WWTP would be an advantage.
