Casey Group is a privately owned company with over 30 years’ experience in the Construction Industry. We specialize in complete on site lifting requirements, from tower cranes, self‑erecting cranes and builders hoists & mastclimbers.

We are looking to engage the services of a qualified electrician or apprentice with a minimum of 2 years experience to join our team in Kilcullen, Co. Kildare.

Job Responsibilities

• Fault finding/troubleshooting – Electricians are responsible for nationwide breakdown assistance, identifying and repairing faults quickly and effectively and providing electrical maintenance/breakdown assistance to a wide variety of cranes, builders hoists and lifting equipment.
• Job recording – All technicians must comprehensively record and report any maintenance work on the job recording app “Workpal”. Training will be provided.
• Pre‑Erection maintenance – All equipment is fully serviced and maintained in our yard before going to site. Electricians replace parts and perform general maintenance.
• Testing & inspections – Thorough inspections are carried out on our equipment periodically on site, including visual inspection and weight testing. Good fault‑finding and observation skills are required.
• Working at height – Candidates must be comfortable working at heights. Previous training is desirable but not required; working‑at‑height & harness training will be provided.
• Safety awareness – Successful candidates will have a strong focus on safety and will identify safety hazards or risks that may inhibit work or make an area unsafe.
• Occasional overtime – Technicians may be expected to work overtime occasionally to suit the needs of the business.
• Team player – Candidates must work well in a team.
