Job Description

Staunton Foods Ltd, Timoleague, Co. Cork are seeking to employ 2 maintenance electricians for their site Roughty Valley Farms, Meelick, Kilgarvan, Co. Kerry. Roles and responsibilities are:

  • Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance on electrical systems, machinery, and equipment to prevent breakdowns.
  • Use diagnostic tools and knowledge to identify the cause of electrical faults or malfunctions in wiring, fixtures, and equipment.
  • Install new electrical components and replace faulty ones, such as switches, outlets, circuit breakers, and other electrical parts.
  • Monitor the performance of electrical systems, including motors, lighting, air conditioning, and automated production systems.
  • Ensure all electrical work is completed according to electrical codes and safety standards to make systems safe for use.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years relevant experience essential.
  • A strong understanding of electrical theory, systems, and components.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • A bachelor degree.

Remuneration is €34,000 per annum based on 39 hours per week.
