Naughtons Car Dismantlers Ltd is seeking a reliable General Operative / Machinery Operator to join our vehicle recycling team. This hands-on yard-based role involves operating forklifts, diggers and other heavy machinery to process end-of-life vehicles and recover materials in a busy outdoor environment.

You will perform safety checks, sort recyclable materials, move vehicles around the yard and assist with daily operations.

Qualifications

• Experience operating forklifts, diggers or similar machinery.
• Previous work in recycling, construction or quarrying is advantageous.
• Ability to work in a busy outdoor environment with safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts, diggers/excavators and yard machinery.
• Crush and process vehicle shells and move vehicles safely.
• Sort and recover metals and recyclable materials.
• Load, move and organize materials in the yard.
• Carry out daily safety checks and report faults.
• Follow health, safety and environmental procedures.
